FIRE RATED ACOUSTIC PLASTER TILEAt last just what the industry needed for many years and now it has arrived, a ONE HOUR FIRE BARRIER Plaster Acoustic Tile. To just appreciate the Fire Barrier is one major point, but its elegant lines and acoustic properties make it a realistic alternative to plain plasterboard for fire rating. It has the added value of being COST EFFECTIVE to the normal one hour plasterboard ceilings. Many systems for fire rating have been tried in the past, but none have the added ability of being a complete fire barrier coupled with a high acoustical rating. Surely this is what the industry has been crying out for, for many years. THE FIRE BARRIER TILE has many unique and distinctive features including the following: (1) Achieved a FRL of 60/60/60 and incipient spread of fire of 60 minutes. (2) Excellent acoustical achievements and STC rating. (3) Concealed suspension (4) Demountable ceiling tiles (5) Specially concealed lights embedded into a specially manufactured fibrous plaster fire rated light tile, this system has the added attraction of being able to be demounted and re-affixed without disturbing the actual fire rating.
